Start the year right and join a badass group of people for a 6 night and 7 days magical experience in a beautiful, jungle resort in Nicaragua! Everyone travels differently, this trip is designed to allow you to make it how you like it! While there will be plenty of opportunities to challenge yourself physically in the classes and workshops, you are by no means required to be of any experience level in order to attend. Beginners are welcome!

The Location

Playa Madera is a beach on the Pacific coast of south western Nicaragua with great sand and good surfing.

Tropical savanna climates have monthly mean temperature above
18 °C (64 °F) in every month of the year and typically a pronounced dry season, with the driest month having precipitation less than 60 mm (2.36 in) of precipitation.

The beaches are often a welcoming sight. Playa Maderas is a sun and sand destination.

Buena Vista Surf Club is a small secluded, six cabaña, jungle eco-lodge overlooking the surf at Playa Maderas, 8km north of San Juan Del Sur in Nicaragua. Guests here switch off their phones, unwind and give in to the simple life surrounded by the lush forest and the Pacific Ocean. Share family-style meals with like-minded people, wake up to early morning yoga, followed by a surf session and stargaze from the infinity deck in the treetops.

Payment and cancellation policy

A $500 non-refundable deposit is due to reserve your spot at time of registration. This deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable. Final payment in full is due 30 days prior to retreat start - December 5th, 2019. Cancellations on or before the 5th of December, 2019 will be refunded. The initial $500 deposit however is non-refundable. Cancellations on or after December 5th, 2019 will remain non-refundable. This cancellation policy is strict and firm. It is recommended that you purchase cancellation/travel insurance to protect your investment.

getting there

Arriving from Managua Airport transfers to the resort range from $65-100 depending on the company you choose and whether you’d like shared or private transfer. Depending on your arrival time, we may be able to coordinate you sharing a transfer with someone else on the retreat, we will do our best! The total trip from the airport to the lodge should take approximately 3 hours.

Irena is fun and lighthearted, she brings a playful approach, as well as deep understanding of yoga anatomy and philosophy to her students. Her yoga and meditation trainings received around the world have given her a deep knowledge of both the spiritual and physical aspects of Yoga.


Fiona, has always had a lust for life, and a profound curiosity for wellness and healing. She is a certified Yin, Kundalini and Vinyasa yoga teacher from Canada that likes to share her love for yoga and the benefits that breath work, postures and meditation can have on people’s well-being and health.
